AMARAVATI: In a major move to assist thousands of families across Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has issued strict directives to expedite the regularisation of long-pending house and house-site applications.

Reviewing the performance of various government departments at the Real-Time Governance Society (RTGS) Centre, the Chief Minister stated that procedural bottlenecks and delays lingering for several years must come to an end immediately.

He instructed district-level administrators to proactively take charge and ensure the rapid processing of these applications to provide much-needed structural relief to the public.

To streamline the entire process, Chief Minister Naidu directed all district collectors to prepare comprehensive inventories of pending applications within their respective jurisdictions.

He emphasized that local administrative units should exhaust all efforts to clear and dispose of these applications at the district level itself.

For complex files or cases that strictly demand higher-level policy intervention, the Chief Minister instructed officials to formally present all non-disputed applications before every upcoming State Cabinet meeting to secure fast-track approvals.
