What we use AI for
- Research assistance, transcription, and summarising public documents.
- Data analysis and open-source intelligence (OSINT) workflows.
- Drafting support and copy-editing, always under human review.
What we will not do
- We do not publish AI-generated text as original reporting without a human journalist verifying, editing, and taking responsibility for it.
- We do not present AI-generated or AI-altered images or video as authentic news imagery. Any synthetic illustration is clearly labelled.
- We do not let AI make editorial or fact-checking decisions unsupervised.
Accountability
Every article carries a human byline. The named journalist and editor are accountable for its accuracy, regardless of the tools used in its production.
