AMARAVATI — Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu ordered senior administrative officials on Friday to fast-track the development of crucial connectivity projects.
During a high-level review meeting at the State Secretariat, Naidu demanded strict implementation of completion timelines for multiple seaports, greenfield airports, and fishing harbours currently under construction.
The review focused heavily on maritime assets, with the Chief Minister assessing the physical progress of major ports at Mulapeta, Ramayapatnam, and Machilipatnam.
Bureaucrats also briefed Naidu on localized fishing harbour projects at Juvvaladinne and Nizampatnam, alongside pending technical clearances required for upcoming regional airports in Dagadarthi, Kuppam, and Srikakulam.
Naidu stated that all new major industrial units must ground operations and commence actual production within 18 months of approval. He instructed the Infrastructure and Investment Department to match this speed, ordering the immediate resolution of land acquisition bottlenecks and the rapid mobilization of capital through institutional financing.
