AMARAVATI — The Andhra Pradesh government has strongly denied allegations of corruption, roster violations, and lack of transparency regarding the Mega DSC 2025 teacher recruitment drive.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, School Education Secretary Kona Sasidhar stated that every phase of the massive hiring process took place under strict legal frameworks and established government guidelines.
The state issued 15,941 appointment letters to selected candidates out of 16,347 notified vacancies after running comprehensive background checks and certificate verifications.
Officials clarified that the massive employment drive, which took place after a seven-year gap since the last recruitment in 2018, drew more than 336,000 applicants.
The administration defended the process against 241 legal challenges, including a petition filed before the Supreme Court.
The Education Secretary emphasized that no judicial body found any breach of statutory rules or issued a stay order, enabling the state to conclude the entire cycle within a record period of 148 days.
