AMARAVATI — Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced that the state government has distributed over ₹65,887 crore under the NTR Bharosa welfare pension initiative since July 2024.

The administration is currently spending nearly ₹32,000 crore annually on the pension sector to provide financial security to vulnerable communities.

Speaking at the 21st Pedala Sevalo programme at Chamavaram village in the Tuni constituency of Kakinada district, the Chief Minister confirmed that ₹2,729 crore has been cleared for June alone.

This direct benefit transfer will support 62.34 lakh beneficiaries across the state, including the elderly, widows, and differently-abled individuals.
