CHITTOOR — The Rayalaseema region is stepping up technological surveillance on public transit. Chittoor District Superintendent of Police Tushar Dudi launched a digital safety tracking system for local transport three-wheelers.

Named "Jana Vishwas – Safer 3-Wheeler Rides," the safety initiative aims to build a verifiable security network for thousands of working professionals, students, and tourists who rely on the local transit network every day.

The administrative rollout began in Nagari under the oversight of local legislator Gali Bhanu Prakash and Additional SP Tarun Pahwa. Under this framework, every operating autorickshaw must display a prominent digital sticker.

This sticker features a Unique Police Identification Number linked directly to a centralized law enforcement database, bringing the unorganized transit sector under structural surveillance.
