AMARAVATI — Kakinada Gateway Port Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sravan Shipping Services Private Limited to establish a major liquid storage tank farm facility.

The upcoming project will be located at the Kona port within the Kakinada Special Economic Zone.

The agreement was finalized by Ram Reddy Ojili, Managing Director and CEO of the port company, and Sambasiva Rao, Managing Director of the shipping service firm.

The planned infrastructure will support the handling, distribution, and storage of diverse liquid cargo categories. These include industrial chemicals, bulk solvents, petrochemical products, and allied liquid commodities.

Under the terms of the agreement, the shipping partner will develop multiple liquid storage tank farms capable of managing up to one million tonnes of cargo per annum.
