AMARAVATI — The Andhra Pradesh government is preparing to roll out a specialized mobile application to digitally monitor the sale and distribution of subsidised fertilisers across the state.

Scheduled for deployment ahead of the upcoming Kharif farming season, the digital platform will establish end-to-end tracking of chemical nutrients from initial supply hubs down to individual retail outlets.

The initiative aims to stamp out black-marketing, curb the illegal diversion of subsidised agricultural inputs to commercial industries, and ensure transparent distribution.

The indigenously developed application will integrate multiple foundational state agricultural databases, including the e-Crop portal, the Webland land record system, and Crop Cultivator Rights Card records.

By linking these systems, the software can instantly verify the identity of a buyer and evaluate their actual landholdings.

Once a retail executive logs a farmer's Aadhaar number, the platform automatically retrieves their cultivation history and crop acreage to recommend scientifically balanced quantities of urea, di-ammonium phosphate, and potash.
