AMARAVATI — The Andhra Pradesh government formally felicitated the top-ranking students of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Intermediate examinations on Saturday.
Education Minister TG Venkatesh Babu led the presentation ceremony, distributing cash prizes to the state-level achievers to recognise their academic success.
The first-prize winners received ₹1 lakh, while the second and third-place finishers were awarded ₹75,000 and ₹50,000 respectively. During his address, the minister emphasised the government's commitment to improving school infrastructure and supporting students from underprivileged backgrounds.
The state administration is currently accelerating development under the Mana Badi Nadu-Nedu programme. This initiative focuses on upgrading basic amenities, classrooms, and technology networks in state-run institutions across all districts.
