VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) Chairman Prof. K. Madhu Murty has urged educational institutions across the state to actively identify and nominate talented children for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2026.
He specifically emphasized focusing on young achievers who are girls, belong to weaker sections, SC/ST communities, and divyang (differently-abled) individuals.
Prof. Murty pointed out that many highly deserving children remain completely unnoticed due to a lack of awareness.
To counter this, he stressed the urgent need for a wide dissemination of information regarding the national award by universities, colleges, and schools.
