VIJAYAWADA: All un-registered higher education institutions across Andhra Pradesh have been strongly advised to complete their mandatory onboarding process on the national survey platform immediately.
Prof. K. Ratna Shiela Mani, the Vice-Chairperson of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), issued this administrative directive following the formal opening of the portal by the Union Ministry of Education.
The ongoing enrollment drive targets all universities, colleges, and standalone institutions across the state that have not yet secured an official survey identity code.
The registration window on the All-India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) portal covers the upcoming academic blocks for 2025-26 and 2026-27.
While fresh registrations are absolutely mandatory for newly set up colleges and previously left-out entities, the council explicitly clarified that higher education institutions that already hold a valid, pre-existing AISHE code do not need to undergo the registration cycle again.
This structural data compilation serves as the official baseline for federal funding allocations, institutional tracking, and region-specific infrastructure planning.
