AMARAVATI — Communist Party of India (CPI) National Secretary Annie Raja launched a scathing attack on the Union government on Saturday, stating that the central administration’s flawed fiscal policies have pushed the national economy into a state of severe chaos.
Speaking to journalists during a brief media briefing, the senior Left leader alleged that the central government is struggling with an unacknowledged deep financial crisis.
According to the veteran leader, recent public advisories from the Prime Minister urging citizens to use domestic resources judiciously are a direct consequence of this systemic economic failure.
She claimed the administration lacks the political courage to present a transparent picture of the nation's financial health to the general public, choosing instead to obfuscate the real issues behind generic austerity calls.
