VIJAYAWADA: Former minister and senior YSRCP leader Perni Venkatramaiah (Nani) has launched a sharp attack on the Chandrababu Naidu-led coalition government, alleging that the much-publicised 'Mega DSC' teacher recruitment drive has turned into a 'Fraud DSC' and one of the biggest recruitment scams in Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing the media in Pamarru of Krishna district on Thursday, Nani demanded that the state government immediately release the certificates and complete details of the 421 candidates who were selected under the Sports Quota. He also called for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the entire recruitment process.

The YSRCP leader questioned why the government was hiding the merit lists specifically for the teacher recruitment drive, especially considering that more than 3.30 lakh candidates had appeared for the DSC examination.

Targeting Human Resources Development (HRD) Minister Nara Lokesh, Perni Nani mocked his political statements and accused him of maintaining silence over the serious allegations surrounding the DSC recruitment process.

He also took a swipe at Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, stating that the leader who once famously promised to “question injustice” was now shifting his stance daily instead of speaking up for the state's unemployed youth.
